This
was my first season of spring ball and from what I have been told it was a lot
different than usual. It was only in the month of February and not the whole
team was able to come to every practice, but we got a lot of one on one work.
During practices we would do hitting lines (my favorite!), serve receive, and
other drills. We would do a little bit of conditioning every practice and also
do mini games. The practices were fun and it was really good to be playing again!
I was starting to miss the team and playing every day like we did in the fall!
The team and I have also been doing the ACE’s machine
every Tuesday and Thursday. This is a way to make sure we keep up with part of
our work out and help the Ex-phys department as well. The ACE’s study is a
quick workout that is supposed to help us get faster and jump higher. I don’t
mind doing it and it is really good for us!
Chelsea and I still work out together every day now that we have the
spring work out plan and once it gets nice out us and a bunch of our friends
play at the sand court by my dorm. That is a lot of fun too! Spring break is
also coming up so everyone is excited for that!
